see digital signature can be done on FORM 16's. BIg companies do not keep printing Form 16 for all employees. They just sign in through DSC and send it to there respective e mail ID's. It is completely normal to use such signatures as they are very much safe.

Kapil, there are digital signature softwares in the market, that can be used to digitally sign and email the Form 16s to the employees. You can check one such software here: www.form16signing.in
