Whether AS 14 applicable to both acusitions and amalgmation??
Does the acquired Company gets dissolved in Acquistion??
Does the amalgamated company gets dissolved in the amalgamation??
Acquisition refers to take over of one company by the other.
Amalgamation refers to a situation where two existing companies combine together to form a new company or one company gets combined with another existing company.
AS 14 applies to Amalgamation
