Diff between striking off company name

Striking off
In dissolution a company is completely closed i.e winding up happens without any chance of the same company being revived, in other words exixtence of the company is finished but in striking off winding up does not happen the company remain open for revival for next 20years from the date of striking off. In other words the company does not lose its existence for next 20years.
