i think there is difference between PRIOR APPROVAL AND PREVIOUS APPROVAL.

PRIOR APPROVAL - taking approval before the resolution or Before appointment ect.

Where as Previous Approval means - The last approval u taken  or  Earlier approval.

I think Mr Satindra is right

If Mr. Satindra is right then company will need central government’s approval only a single time in a financial year. As it fulfills the requirement of previous approvals wherever it is needed. 
And this is quite strange as Ankur sir said. 
An auditor appointed under secton 139 can be removed by a special resolution by the company and previous approval of central government- now in this case previous(earlier taken) approval will be considered or another previous approval will be required.
