the latest VAT rate in Uttaranchal for mobile handsets & mobile battery & charger, USB Stick is 4% under schedule II B of Uttaranchal State VAT Act.

In Andhra Pradesh state VAT applicable rates are:

4% / 14.5% PTS NA Monthly Increase in VAT wef 15-01-2010

But  on Gold VAT rate is 1%  or not

which items will cover under 12.5% and which items will cover under 14.5%

Please give me detailed AP STATE VAT information

Dear Sharath,

VAT on Gold is 1% (please refer schedule III of APVAT Act)

And VAT rate 12.5% is changed to 14.5% w.e.f. 15-01-2010.  So orders related to before 15th Jan. 2010 will be attracting 12.5%  and 14.5% from 15th Jan. 2010.

Still you need any clarifications, please let me know.
