Late fees charged in ITR

Filed ITR last week. ₹ 1000/- was deducted as "late filing Fees" (Section 234 ) for calculating my due refund, despite Last date for filing this A Year being extended to 30 September. Pl. reply, if anyone has faced same issue while filling ITR for AY 21-22. Thanks and regards.

You have to wait till 15th August as it is a technical glitches

How was I supposed to know "That" ?? CBDT Will adjust the amount, while giving refund ??

CBDT has clarified that if the interest and fees was charged in the return after 31st July, then that will be refunded while processing the return

CBDT and ICAI has clarified on 1st August that taxpayers should wait upto 15th August for filing return after clearing the glitches

But 15th August is over now,today is 17th,
finance minister has given the statement on16th August to wait 2to 3 weeks

Today is 17th August 2021 and no respite of error resolution on various ITRs or Common Utility and entire EFiling and Validation and Everification process. Everything still stands erroneous.

Indians performed satyagraha once to drive the British out of the nation are today peacefully sustaining the blows from their bureaucracy and a software major IT firm for launching a poor quality product without any proper testing. No protest, no court cases, no PILs.
