Late Fee for Annual Return (GST R -9)

Whether any late fee will be levied for late filing of GST R- 9 for FY 2019-20 for the registered person having turnover below 2 crore.
Any Notification or press release regarding this ?

If turnover is less than 2 crores rupees then there is no requirement to file gstr 9

Even though it is optional for Assessee's having turnover below 2 crore but if it is filed after due date then any penalty will be levied or not?

Generally late fees in annual return filing is Rs 100 CGST & 100 SGST per day.
But its all depend upon GST portal, that it will charge or not late fees even your turnover is less than 2cr.
