Any guess? For how many days r going to extend for Final examination?
after declaration of pole dates today

Elections are to be conducted in Schools & Colleges as usual and that will be under control of election commision. t.me/canotes

CA exams are also conducted in Schools and colleges. So practically it is not possible to conduct CA Exams in between elections dates.

As most ICAI exam centers are official polling booths, there might be some hurdles in conducting the exams. t.me/canotes

Election commision will not share any premises with ICAI or anyone. As election is serious business in context to a democratic country like India and it should free and fair. So election commision will not take a chance at any cost. t.me/canotes

yeah i agree with Ashish,please guys instead of wasting time on social media focus on studies because each and every minutes counts.so prepared well.Tyaari acchi hogi to result aacha hoga to parents ko proud feel hoga. All the best guys

My city has only one examination centre and that is polling booth last time...

Dear Students,

As you are aware, CA exams had earlier been scheduled from 2nd May 2019 to 17th May 2019, in the normal course.

However, pursuant to the announcement of the schedule of dates of General Elections to Lok Sabha, spanning April-May 2019, it has become necessary to postpone the May 2019 CA exams since the schools and colleges where CA exams are to be held will also be functioning as election booths or counting booths and the exam functionaries at the schools and colleges will also be engaged in election work.

It may be noted that in May 2014 also, CA exams were re-scheduled from 26th May 2014 onwards, on account of General Elections held in April /May 2014.

Accordingly, it has been decided to reschedule the May 2019 CA exams as follows:

From 27th May 2019 to 12th June 2019.

No exam will be held on 5th June 2019 which is a Central Govt. Gazetted holiday on account of Id-Ul-Fitr.
