what is Intimation u/s 143(1)? I got a Intimation against my IT return.

" what is Intimation u/s 143(1)?"
It simply means........ that the IT return filed by you has been accepted by department in principle, and refund if any, will be processed and paid to you in near future.
In addition to comment of Rambhia sir, demand notice under section 156 may also be send along with intimation u/s 143 (1), if there any amount due from you as per the tax computation by dept.
