I m in footwear business today I have a issue
my goods cought by sale tax officer
and imposing penalty
MRP of product is Rs 199/-
and manufacture price is shown on invoice is Rs. 50/- plus tax as applicable
they r saying this is wrong
is this is a offence ?
according to GST LAW
then help me please

As per knowledge it is not offence tax
if eto think mrp is low ask him that u can give my product on mrp price to the sale tax department
kindly furnish some more information to answer your question
MRP ONLY IS A MAX RATE LIMIT OF SALE GOOD
THARE IS NO ANY LAW FOR THIS , ONLY ONE IS THAT YOU CAN NOT CHARGE MORE THAN MRP
