Only practice manual won't suffice. You will need to study from a proper textbook. My suggestion would be Pankaj Garg.

And for your first question, exemption is certainly possible though difficult. You will have to study the entire sylabbus and attempt the entire paper at the very least. Your answers should be to the point and convey what the question requires. Remember, the paper corrector won't have a lot of time to read long answers so you should know how to get across your points in a concise manner.

I admit it's a big book but there's not much of an option. What you can do is make your own notes. I will be posting a detailed article on this subject later. So watch out for that :)

No, it won't be possible to complete in one day. At last day you can just have over view like SA's can be read through charts given in book and bird's eye view of other topics.
Rest have faith in teacher and yourself. All the best.

Hello Nidhi
Getting more than 60 in Audit marks is easy.
Just think as if you are a paper checker and a question is in front of you,
What kind of an answer you would expect from a student to write.Thats the kind of answer you need to write to get more than 60 marks.
Regarding Company law audit / Professional Ethics refer CA Act.
For Professional Ethics explanation refer Institute's study material its the best .
As far as book goes in my opinion Study Material is the best but if you want to refer then please refer Vinod Kumar Agarwal 's book .
For Auditing Standards -Study Material is the best .But if you want to refer to a book ,then please refer D S Rawat 's book .
Its my personal opinion
Thanks
