GSTR3B mistake

I have wrongly added my purchase IGST in Sales ! and now It is demanding for tax from me.
can It be modified ?

it cannot be modified so as of now you have to pay that liability. any mistake done in GSTR 3b can be corrected while filing regulars returns only so

the amount paid will be carry forward at the time of filing GST3(not 3B) for that month...

also I have made a big mistake by submitting my sales figures in purchase and vice versa

Gourav once it is submitted it cannot be rectified eventhough u have not filed the return....

sometime it is not possible to pay big tax amount which comes due to typing mistake, only wait and watch

Now that GSTR-2 and GSTR-3 would not be required to be filed in near future there is no way the mistake can be rectified unless the revision option is given as was given for Jul '17 GSTR-3B.

Hence I hope that the Government would provide this option soon because if the 3B for a month is not filed then it will not be possible to file the 3B for any of the subsequent months.

Further representation should be made to the effect that there should not be a need to SUBMIT the 3B then pay taxes and then FILE. The taxpayer should be allowed to pay the taxes and then file the returns. This is for the reason that only at the time of payment of taxes a large number of errors are noticed and sometimes the system also does not save the data properly due to which errors crop up in 3B.

Its really wondering that no option for correction of submitted 3B in GST portal. It is quite common that errors would be there in submission. How does it matter to make corrections? It is nobody's understanding why the buttons get locked once we click the submit button. This is terrible hardship. The subject is new to the entire country and all major heads breaking their heads to understand. If this is the issue, no professional can take up the GST works.
