Query of HSN details in GSTR 2 return

Sir. in our GSTR 2 return our supplier didn't mention HSN wise details, so should we enter in our GSTR 2 return the HSN details? please clarify the matter .

sir, as per my knowledge
in gstr 1 we dont have to show HSN wise sale list

all the information in GST filing is mandatory if applicable, HSN wise

HSN code is made mandatory to everyone so uploading sale as per HSN code is also mandatory

dear Sajita Deb: its not mandatory for the taxpayers whose turnover below 1.5 Crores.

Sir my mera turnover 50 cr. lakin mera query kisi ko samaj hi nehi aaraha hey. Auto populated RTD GSTR 2 mey kiya mujhey HSN Wise detaila put karna hey ya nehi.

HSN code is mandatory so u have to upload the details with HSN code

Yes HSN code is mandatory. You are telling about Draft GSTR 2 which is provided for cross references to confirm with booked purchase

How come HSN summary is possible in GSTR 2? we purchase 100 of different items in a month or only HSN summary of those whose purchase in coming in GSTR 2A we need to show ?

The format of GSTR 2 has made a provision for entering HSN codes. I advise that you should do your job by filling the HSN codes without bothering about absence of HSN codes in GSTR 1. In any case, you should advise your supplier to mention the HSN codes in future in the GSTR 1.
