offline utility GSTR 1

a person is purchasing goods and there are many items with different tax rate in the tax invoice how can we bifurcate the items of tax invoice in a single row because there is only one column in GSTR1 for tax and one column for invoice so what is the solution?

Dear Mr. Abhay ,

I think you are asking wrong question, as in GSTR-1, you are only required to provide the detail of sales, not purchses, details of the purchses will be shown in GTST-2, which will be auto populated from GSTR-1, filled by the related party. but if your question is from seller side than dont worry enter the sales invoice in GSTR-1 in B2B(4) or B2CL column as the case may be Offline utilty of the GSTR-1 will automatically compute the tax HSN wise separetly .

but sir in case of GSTR1 if one sale invoice contain more than one percentage of item (5%+12%) then how it will be shown in offline utility of GSTR 1? because it contain only one row and only one tax rate can be entered in that row?

This means you did not used GSTR-1, First you put full value under main head supose a sale invoice contains 3 items of tax rate @ 5%, 12% and 18% and Taxable value is is Rs. 50000/- and total value of the invoice is Rs.56200/- than you first enter Rs. 62500/-/ than it will take you to tax column there you could fill different tax value under tax column say goods under under tax rate of 5% taxable value is 10000/- than it should automatically calculate tax amount of Rs. 500/- and goods ubder 12% is 25000% than it would automatically compute tax of Rs.3000/- and last item of Rs. 15000/-is of tax rate 18% which means tax value of Rs. 2700/-.and click the save button. now it will show as you required . and your problem will be solved .
