Voluntary registration in GST

voluntarily registerd person whose turnover is less than 15 lac. Has he required to charge GST in invoice? and which type of invoice will be issued by him?

when a person get register under gst act. then he is taxable person liable to pay tax. he shall issue tax invoice.

Tax invoice stating his company name on the top of invoice along with his GSTIN number and also the customer GSTIN no if the transaction is and product descripttion with HSN code the rate applicable to a respective product !!

if he opt for composition scheme than no need to issue tax invoice and if he go under general category then tax invoice as per GST rules need to be issued

composition dealer means small businessman within turnover limit up-to 75/50 in within state and they will pay fixed gst 1 and 2% as per his occupation of quarterly turnover

I am a jobworker(for hosiery..Sando Genji)..turnover below 10 lacs..whether registration is compulsory??? if not then what will be procedure for sendin completed goods to principles office from my place

Hello Pankaj! If you are having a turnover of less than 10 lakh, no registration is required. But if you are supplying goods on behalf of another person, registration required irrespective of your current turnover. Also, you say you are job worker. Does that mean you apply sime process on hosiery goods and supply it from your premises on behalf of that hosiery supplier who supplied you those hosiery? Pls confirm.

thanks..Harish ji...actually we do stitching,iron and packing...and send back to the principal...we don't sale at all..also nothing is added from our side..all materials are supplied by principal who is registered..

In auch a case, you need not worry for registration until your turnover exceeds 20 lakh (10 lakh for north east states).
