no it can be filed only once. so filed properly.revision of this is not clarified till date

Yes u can file multiple times.....this is allowed because due date of filing of return under VAT, Service Tax and Excise is different and the amount of ITC under various head to be carried forward through TRAN 1 will be known after filing above returns.
