if he is dealing in different state
then it is compulsory for him

if he is having 2 or more vertical businesses then also he can have multiple registrations under 1 PAN

Under 1 PAN he can take only 1 registration but he can show multiple addresses with multiple SAN & HSN codes if it's a INTRA STATE.

I have one partnesrship firm which is registered under composition scheme .I am th first partner and the authorised signatory of the firm.Now I want to register a second sole proprietorship firm with my personal pan can i take new gst for the same . for your information the partnership firm is registered with firm pan.
