I am asking about UTilization of CENVAT credit for excise duty payble (arised last year, but not paid).

Dear Nitin,
If you have validly availed cenvat credit as per CCR you can use for payment of excise arrerss but not for interest on same and penalty

You can pay the arrears from the cenvat credit.
