Service tax on rental service

Hi !

In business of Laptop / Computer sale on rent what % of Service tax (14% or Partial) should be charged in invoice. In case of HUF proprietorship.

Kindly suggest.

hello,

it will be charged at 14% only but you can use the limit of 10 lacs first to avoid service tax

ST @ 14.5 % has to be charged from 15 of november

Renting of movable property is not under the ambit of service tax
