Hello,

while i am submitting the request for online TDS correction i.e addtion of challan for FY 2008-09 & 2010-11, i came to the following message :

Online correction on TRACES is not enabled for the requested statement. Kindly file correction through NSDL and the subsequent correction can be filed on TRACES.

Besides I also download the RPU software from NSDL, but it also does not permit for addition of challan .

Kindly guide me how to do then......

First of all u have to add challan online to the particular quarter through tds trace site than after processed u hv to send request for latest conso file. In which challan displayed which u added. N than add deducted entries in rpu conso file in which u add challan n submit revised return

U can easily understood by using e tutorial avlble on traces for online correction. Just go through it.

yaa , but in my case problem is this that request for correction is not accepted and aforesaid message displayed.
