Amalgamation
The normal formula for calculation of capital employed is total assets minus current liabilities. But in one of the sum they have subtracted debentures along with current liabilities. any idea would be helpful .......

Yeah, I've had the same doubt. It's the 9th problem in the practice manual right? My best guess is he took it unintentionally. Calculate PC without taking debentures. No matter what the answer is, we should follow the method stipulated by ICAI. They can't deduct marks since debentures are not to be included in the first place.
