Arrears of salary for previous years received in AY 2015-16 before filing of return on due date, is to be taxed n relief claimed us-89 for PY 2014-15 or PY/AY 2015-16/16-17?

Return filling date for Individual is 31st July-2015 that means you need to file return what you earned in Financial Year 2014-15. Any arrears if you received after the relevant Financial year i.e 2014-15 would fall in F.Y 2015-16 and you have to add this income while computing total Income for A.Y 2016-17 (F.Y-2015-16)
