Dear Experts,

while Filling for FORM 23AC for the FY starting from 01/04/2014 to 31/03/2015, for the companies incorporated Before 2014 and former. while submiting the date THE BALANCE SHEET RELATE TO FINANCIAL YEAR FROM "01/04/2014"... the pop-up comes Form 23AC cannot be filled for financial year beyond 31st march 2014.

its an company incorporated in 2011. the FORM 23AC is downloaded from MCA after 1st Aug. (modified one)

please revert.

Dear Ankit,

Please note General Circular No. 10/2015 released by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, informing the stakeholders that Form AOC 4 and AOC 4 XBRL will be notified shortly and the same must be used for filing balance sheets and Statement of Profit and Loss for financial years commencing on or after 1st April 2014.

The circular has also relaxed the additional filing fees till 30th October 2015 for companies that have already held their Annual General Meetings and whose due dates for filing forms fall well before 30.10.2015.

This must be the reason why Form 23AC is showing the error. Please wait for the forms to be released.

I will be pleased to know if there is any difference between Aoc-4 and XBRL Aoc-4. in terms of applicability of the form. (i.e for small co. AOC-4, for Other Specified Co. XBRL AOC-4.) or its voluntary as per convience of the co.

Dear Ankit,

XBRL AOC-4 is to be filed by following types of the Companies:

1. All the Listed Companies.

2. Subsidiaries of Indian Listed Companies

3. Every Company having paid up capital of Rs. 5 Crore or More.

4. Every Company having turnover of Rs. 100 crores or More.

I too have a query on XBRL filings, as per Companies Act, 2013, Listed company means a company which has any of its securities listed on any recognised stock exchange. Does this mean even a company whose debentures are listed on stock exchange and its subsidiaries need to file XBRL forms?
