Deduction under chapter vi-a
an assessee is paying insurance premium of his son (disabled u/s 80u), getting a deduction u/s 80c. can he also claim deduction u/s 80DD.?

80 DD is notional deduction so he can claim according to % of disability
He is getting deduction for paying insurance premium under 80C
can he also get deduction for the same expense in 80DD
i dont think so .. one cant claim dedcution for the same amount under two different heads..
Hmmm
but also 80DD say that we shall get deduction of 50000 for any expense incurred for disabled dependent..nowhere it is written that other than medical premium
