Signing of itr-v

ITR 766 views 5 replies

I have filed ITR-2 for AY 2014-15 one of my client. He is now out of India for 4 months. He has not signed ITR-V which I have to send to CPC, Bengaluru. Time will be elapsed before his return. Should I sign ITR-V on behalf of my client (as for)? Please suggest me.

Thanks in advance.

Send it through post and obtain his signature.

Why not mail him the ITR V and ask him/her to sign the same and dispatch.....

Hi,

It will be best to get it signed by him, Scan and mail.

Otherwise you can revise the return and file it as a representative of assessee.

For any further query PM or mail me.

When the return is filed by the representative will the ITR V be signed by the representative.

yes, you should be holding a valid POA in this case.

For further query PM/mail
