what is deducted year in the TDS schedule in return filling, is it assessment year or financial year

Financial Year.......whereas it is an optional field, you can file your Return without filling information under head Deducted year (Col.iv)

If filing Return for year ending 31/03/2014.........it will be 2014.
& if filing for 31/03/2013 ..............it will be 2013.

actually if return is being filed for FY 13-14 then you have to fill 2013 or for FY 12-13 then 2012 likewise.
