Perquisite value of quarters

Dear Friens,

What is the perquisite value of Quarters in the following case?

A person living in the Quarters of BSNL is not paid HRA while other employees not living in Quarters are paid HRA at 10% of Basic salary. In addition a license fee of Rs.378 per month is deducted from his salary. As per Income Tax Act, perquisite value is calculated at 7.5% of Gross pay less license fee less rent already paid. In this case, since HRA is not paid, will it be construed as payment of rent or not. What is the perquisite value of Quarters? HRA is not included in his salary for calculation of Tax.

Sir‚ HRA not paid to person in your case can bevthe policy oh company not to pay HRA to employeoe who is staying the quarters of company. So the value of taxable perk will be equal to 7.5% of basic less Rs 378 per month

The rental value of the Company Quarters is fixed at Rs.3070 for C Type Quarters for other than company employees, in which I am residing. But I am not being paid HRA which is currently 10% of my basic i.e., Rs.27570 and also Perquite value of 7.5% of Gross Salary is added to my income. Is it correct? Totally my rental value of Quarters comes to about Rs.6100 per month, which is double the rental value. Can I address the problem and with whom?

Sir i think if u r not paid the hra..then it will not be ur income and rfa will be 2067 less378
