I have come across a case, where for the FY 2007-08, the person has paid self assessment tax eventhough his income was NIL.(below taxable limit). Further, the person who has filed his ITR, has not shown the same in ITR . My query is how to claim the refund of this tax?

Nothing can happen in this case since both the time for revision & rectification has gone
we can write a letter to the department, i think.
