I think north indians use such festival as stressbuster.!

Dude, whatever but it's not appropriate to abuse any region!!!angry

i dont accept this yaar ... discussion stands good only if it is restricted to a certain point ... we have no right to say something that we dont know about . people have different customs and religion according to which they celebrate ...

You are right Ayush..We south indians rarely celebrate Holi and many other celebrations that other parts of India have..Compared to other parts we have very less festivals i feel so....But nowadays in my place there are so many north indian people who coming here for work....They celebrated holi in different part of Kerala..

You are also right that south indian cultures are just oppisite of North indians.smileythats why we says

Unity in diversity ...We all are Indians and we all are one in these diversity also...smiley

In South India i.e. Chennai, No One Knows Sankranti.

Here People Celebrate as "Pongal".

and North Indian Celebrate Sankranti as Major Festival, Diversity in Each and Every Region.

In Rajasthan, Punjab They Use to Fly the Kites, in Maharstra and Other region Its Making New Food and Til and Jaggery Items.

In Gujarat, Fly Kites.

If anyone was hurt by my previous comment, then am sorry.!....

Mr.Human Being / Tamilzhan .... Please don't take things in an inappropriate manner, Mr. Ayush was surprised that Holi is not being celebrated across South India.

why you are unnecessarily dragging the issues of molestation , environment and cultural conflict and your aspiration for North India Girls etc to this discussion...

Please do not use Professional forum for such unwanted debate on culture and religion.
