It was quite a balanced boring and politicized budget..Some aspects of it were good and some were irrational...

1.) Getting investment proposals cleared in time was a good step ahead..

2.) Benefits to the textile sector which is going through a though phase..

3.)Loosening some norms for Insurance sector..

4.) Positive notes regarding GST and GAAR..

We should see good aspects of it....

There is nothing to discuss about the Budget - 2013 other than Tax credit of Rs. 2,000. its a very very boring Budget and got fully disappointed.

If any one asked to discuss some thing about the Budget - 2013, majority will tell that better to talk some thing which is useful or nothing is there and waste to discuss.

Even non of the interviewers will ask in GDs to discuss about Budget - 2013.

@ Deepali Agarwal...Since there is economic instability all around, how u can expect major changes in the policies since major changes can affect the economy more adversely..

The budget was good. The rebate of Rs 2000 is a welcomig step. The 10% surchage on super rich is also welcoming step. But the exp on non-planned activities is too high. The Govt should reduce so much borrowing .The Govt should restrict imports of electronic and cheap plastics goods, clothes machineries, etc from China and should encourage the local businessman to manufacture such goods. After 65 years of independence we use to use pendrice, computer,CD,mobile, etc of made in china. It is a shame for us.

The budget was much of ordinary!

The FM needed to take some drastic steps to utilize the already available resources..!

All know that the direct tax collection %. Everyone talks it to be less than 10%.. So why not some steps to improve those figures.. and

Rs.50,000 farmers loan waiver..?! they maybe in dire situations but on average Rs.50lacs per loan has been waived!! (90576 farmers)

And our FM is good with coining new terms into the budget (super rich surcharge)

Overall the budget should have looked to carry on some older provisions with better implementation.. Lots of changes would scare the Indian economy as a whole.

Nothing surprising. With election around the corner and UPA govt. in such miserable condition, what else can we expect ? Really nothing to advise my clients on.
