05 November 2012Dear Sir, we are exporters of edible salt. We are not the manufacturer but only a trader. We do 100% export, no local sale. Is FSSAI license must for Custom clearance of export shipment. We have been told by our C&F agent at Kandla port that all the Salt exporters are applying for FSSAI license, so you also apply. Dear Madhavendra Singh.
For export of salt to gulf country like Muscat - Health Certificate from Food & Drug Department must require & Salt Export Worthy Certificate from Salt Commissioner (Mandatory but no one can do this practice)
