What is the change made in gmcs classes recently..?

 To equip entrants to the profession with some essential skills, it has now been decided that Articled Assistants joining Articled training on or after 1st May, 2012, shall have to undergo the GMCS Course twice during the period of training for 15 days each – once during 1st year of articled training and second during last one and a half years (i.e. between 19th and 36th month of Practical Training). Keeping in view the requirements of Indian Industry, the course content for the two phases of the GMCS Course has been comprehensively revised to make it more useful and informative.

The gmcs would be held in two parts of the students who or joining articleship on or after may 2012, -1step:- During the first year of articleship 2 step:- Before joining the profession but after passing the intermediate (ipcc both groups) examination. Thease two steps will deal with office management, personality development, and group discussion etc..with aiming to transform and preparing students to face international professional scenario with grace and skill

 

i had submit my articleship registeration form in ICAI on 21/05/2012 with late fees but in that form i had mentioned my joining date 28/4/2012 and same for franking from bank...

 

so now, please answer me

wheather i have to do GMCS twice under the new Rule of ICAI or the existing rule(i.e one time GMCS)????
