Mandatory annual filing

Hi friends,

Can someone helpme with following:

What are the mandatory annual filing (e-form etc) a Pvt. Ltd. company has to do and by what dates? In this case a company is formed on 29-Feb-2012 and 25-June-2011.

Hi Pratish!

u/s 166 of Companies Act, 1956, company may hold its 1st AGM within a period of not more than 18 months from the date of its incorporation & such AGM is held within that period, it shall not be necessary for the company to hold any AGM in the year of its incoporation.

company which is formed on 25 June, 2011 that company 1st AGM will be called before 25 December, 2012.

Company which is formed on 29 Feb, 2012, it has sufffcient time.

u/s 210 of Companies Act, 1956, At every AGM of a company held in pursuance of section 166, the Board of directors shall lay before the company:

(a) a balance sheet &

(b) a profit & loss account for that period.

Hey Ankita thanks valuable information.

Just one more question, since the accounts need to passed in AGM and filing date of last year a/c will be 30 sep, hence wouldn't it be mandatory for Co. formed in June-11 to call AGM before Sep-30 or is it that a/c can be place and passed in later scheduled AGM.
