Lance Armstrong, at the age of  25 was one of the world's best cyclists. He proved it by winning the World Championships, the Tour Du Pont and multiple Tour de France stages. He  seemed invincible and his future was bright.

Until...............

He was  diagnosed with testicular cancer, the most common cancer in men aged 15–35.  Lance ignored the warning signs, and he never imagined the seriousness of his condition. And unfortunately, the cancer spread to his abdomen, lungs and brain. His chances of survival dimmed.

HE NEVER LOST HIS HOPE EVEN AFTER KNOWING THAT HIS CHANCES ARE DISMALLY LOW.

Then a combination of physical conditioning, a strong support system and competitive spirit took over.  He declared himself not a cancer victim but a cancer survivor. In February 1997, he was declared cancer free, and he established the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer patients. in 1998 he returned to take fourth place at the World Road Race Championship.

Lance continued his winning streak and currently holds the record for most victories by any individual.
