Rectification e upload

while uploading rectification, if we seek rectification only in processing and not in the itr, do we need to upload any xml file ?

Dear all

I think original XML file should be uploaded instead of revised XML file because revised XML means filling the revised return but you are seeking rectification and not filling the revised return.

Dear Sir,

I think, assesse has to open his original ITR then make the rectification and then generate the XML file.

Then the newly generated XML should be uploaded.

while rectification e upload you correct the mistake in return and generate new xml file and then u have to upload the new xml file.then u will get the ack too............................
