RG excise registers

There is no prescribed format for any of the records. You can maintain private records  containing prescribed particulars. Maintain in any format a daily production register, cenvat credit account ( inputs, capital goods input services) containing prescribed particulrs.

Except daily production register DSA( earlier RG-1), all other records can be maintained in self made formats with legible entry of claiming credit 

DSA should be kept under hard bound format, with 1st and last page signed by the owner of factory, maintained on daily basis, ( for computerized DSA, if permitted, a print out should be taken on daily basis and signed by the owner and kept for records)

In addition,these registers can also be generated through the ERP system or can be maintained n excel sheet.

sir its compulsary to maintain RG23 PART 1 AND RG23 PART 2 .SO THAT ON EXCISE AUDIT ,THE EVIDENCE OF EXCISE INPUT AND EXCISE OUTPUT CAN BE CLEARLY SHOWN IN THE BOOK OF ACCOUNT

I want RG-23 Part II in Excel format so i can do only in system not without register can it possible to make entry in excell sheet please help

its matter of state excise, and registers are prescribed by state excise department only.
