CAN WE ISSUE SINGAL TDS CERTIFICATE FOR WHOLE YEAR??
IS IT NECESSARY TO ISSUE TO ISSUE TDS CERTI ONLY AFTER FILING TDS RETURN??
CAN'T WE ISSUE CERTI ON 30TH OF EACH MONTH IMMEDIATELY AFTER END OF QUARTER EVEN THOUGH NO TDS RETURN FILED WITHIN DUE DATE??
You can issue the TDS certificate as soon as you deduct also.....
I have been in certain companies who will print it as soon as the amount is deducted.
The whole concept of issuing TDS certificate is to acknowledge that the TDS amount has been deducted.
Nothing is compulsory as i have seen in many companies....
If there is anything statutory let me know.

but i want to ask about late filing of tds return end issuing tds certi withing 15 days from due dates of filing retrun
eg. tds retrun for q1 11-12 on 30th sep-11 and
tds certi date 30th july-11
can v do this??
No,after new amendment we can issue Tds certi for each qtr.for every return within the 15 days after submition the return(15 day of july for the qtr ended 30.06.2011) only after submition of Return.
