Being a person is more important

There is a short story on gender equality.

Once there was a car accident and the father and the child were injured. Father had minor injuries but, the son had to undergo a major operation. As soon as the child was on the operation table, the doctor said " Oh God ! This is my own son !" The reader might get shock as to how that doctor can claim that child to be his own son when his father himself is with him. The reason is that doctor was a lady, she was the mother of that child.

Generally, we tend to assume that there can be only male doctors who can do the operations. Why is it so ? The female doctors are also well knowledgeable, qualified and experienced to do the operations. Here lies the main point.............

There are a particular class of people who believe that " Ek beta hi apne khandan ko aage le jaa sakta hai" Beti ho ya na ho lekin beta toh chahiye hi" In that case they tend to give birth to so many girl child  until and unless a male child is born. There are some people who do s*x- determination and try to abort the girl foetus.

Today, girls are achieving success in various fields; be it sports, politics, business, medicines and the list goes on. A female sub-ordinate sometimes can have a better understanding than a male sub-ordinate. The only thing is 'She' needs support from her friends, family and colleagues. The boys with which mindset they are pursuing their professional career ; with that same type of mindset the girls are also pursuing there careers. Both men and women are first persons; they are separate individuals and then, they are distinguished by their genders. Sharing or exchange of knowledge or helping a person is a good job; even if it is between a male and female.

So, I just want to say one thing: Educate girls, give them the freedom to choose their own career and try to change that typical 'Mindset'.

Very well said, Totally justified.

Now a days there is no difference between male and female in any sector.

The only thing is 'She' needs support from her friends, family and colleagues.

In 1970's time there were hurdles like family hurdles,in-Law hurdles. But this generation is eqquipped with much more understanding with parents & in-laws, an enlightened society where men & women are equal or atleast treated equal . Take advantage of that. You can leap into bigger horizons, bigger boundaries. you can leap higher than this.

yes Superb...
