Designation of C.A

Whether a Chartered Accountant signing a audit report or financials should necessarily mention his designation in the firm as a partner or proprietor or can he still sign without mentioning anything about his designation in the firm(Partner or Proprietor) and only mention his membership number and firm name

If yes, where it is being insisted??

Pls Clarify.

A Chartered Accountant if he certifiying any document has to mention his status whether partner or proprietor.

The best source is Code of Ethics issued by ICAI.
