Depressed due to articleship, need urgent help

No need to continue with such kind of articleship firm where you cant be able to gather knowledge.

But now the 1 year time limit has been elapsed so now I cannot change my CA firm. Is there any remedy available? Please someone tell me how to handle this situation.

I am greatly depressed and I don't feel hungry and don't find joy in anything. I am not even able to concentrate on my studies. Feeling badly exploitted.

There is a remedy....convince any how your principal for secondment of A'ship...under secondment you will continue to be registered under ur current principal only but you may work for some other CA in practice or in Job....you have just intimate Institute of Secondment....

You can do Secondment or industrial training. but Its for one year maximum 

You should have enquired about the quality of work or the lifestyle of firm before joining.

Anyhow, My Dear friend, you can go for secondment like suggested as above , or industrial training during the last year of Training. Now you will say that last year of articleship is for study, that you can do now, since you are made to sit free in office without work. Start your coaching , do self study for theoritical subjects in office.

Surely go for industrial training during the last year, your principal has no right to stop you from taking industrial training.

As far as I know my prinicipal he will not allow me for secondment at all because he needs a servant for his personal works.

See, u cant complain to him regarding no work, he will simply answer that u must have enquired before tking under me.

And regarding personal works he makes u to do, simply deny that this is not my job. Show some courage..But do remember that you should not speak aggresively or negatively, simply deny that this is not my job sir, please give me some work which helps in CA.

In such situations where there is no way out..depression starts coming.Best remedy to suggest is ,at every night u return home.. before sleeping listen to good songs (especially old songs) to calm u r ming and boost ur good mood/feelings..Completing articleship is more important.

the best way out for now is you should join industrial training now (mean in this year of your articleship) ,as in your case you boss will not allow you secondment

and in next year i.e. after completion of your industrial traing you join again your principal as there in not much office load use that time for studying

this will help you to boost up your confidence for now and later you can prepare for exams and take preparation leaves then

I read u wht u hav written.. & the same case is happening with me too. The only diffrence is that my boss has lot & lot of work but still, he dont give me any work.He just give work to those articles who came with someone's reference..

I also want to learn work. Bt my only fault is that i joined that firm without someones refernce & thats y my boss is not intrstd in giving me work.

Evrytym,i asked my boss,that sir, plz giv me some work so that i came to know about something.Bt everytym he says,yes wait,i'll defintly giv u.Bt evrytym he give work to othr artcles.

I know how one feels at this moment. Either one wants to commit suicide or kill his/her boss at this tym. Bt unfortuntaly we cant do any of the things.

So, i just want to say, only completing artclship is not imp, bt clearing exams is also vry vry imp. So better concentrate on ur studies. I know its too difficult, so was for me. Bt on, only a single hope, that in 3rd yr my boss will allow me transfer to do indstrial training, i hav started my preparation. 

So better u also start ur preparation slowly...

feels really sad that the most respected profession is being used for exploitation .....neways...take it in a positive manner and start studying.....learn to say "no" to personal work of ur employer...
