No, change in mehod of depreciation amounts to change in accounting policy. As Per AS 5, the accounting policy can be changed only if
1. It is required by law
2. It is required by accounting Standered
3. It result in more true and fair representation of financial statements.
After that only we can change method of depreciation not at our will.
