Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether loans received from friends of directors should be classified as a deposit for the purpose of DPT 3 filing. While it might not be a traditional deposit, it likely requires disclosure. The conversation also touches upon loans from relatives of directors in private companies, noting that a declaration of the funds being their own money is important.

I think it is not deposit but it has to be disclosed at relevant place in the form DPT 3
In case of pvt. co. loan from Relative of directors .the relative give declaration that they give his own money not borrowed from anyone it shall come under deposit
