If a firm is converted in to a company, they should first get their Import-Export code Number (IEC) modified / updated by applying to Jurisdictional Director general of Foreigh Trade office. Upon updation of new status/name in IEC, you will be issue an amendment sheet to the DEPB licence which is still in the name of the old firm. After issuance of such amendment sheet the company so formed will be able to use the licence.
