The modalities of setting up Multi-Disciplinary Partnership (MDPs) of their members are under discussion amongst the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAoI).
The councils of the three Professional Institutes are yet to take a final decision in the matter.
MDPs are, in principle, not limited to the three aforesaid Institutes.
This was stated by Shri Arun Jaitley, Minister of Corporate Affairs in written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today

As a member of professional institutes we do not agree the modalities of MDP.so there is a very bleak chance of having MDP among three institutes.
All the three Institute's should move away from their stated positions and re-look the entire world in a new dimension, so that it benefits members of all the professions. The Government must have a pro-active role in ensuring that these professional bodies come to the table for discussion on major sticking issues and resolve the differences. Leaders from all the three professional institute to have a vision for our future generations to come and not to limit their horizon just for their own benefits.
