Can anyone tell me how to upload the correct X M L after receiving defective notice u/s 139(9). By mistake, I already submitted the response of defective notice by not agreeing with it in december month. Now i cannt withdraw response. And income tax is not giving option to upload X M L against defective notice under efile menu. Plz suggest how to go through this.

Its better to walkdown to your assessing office and request them to take on record of your manual submissions . You can explian your version of facts.

hello ashisha bista I had a similar issue where i filed a return for a firm, where income after claiming remunaration became nill. I too madean online response It took amonth but they CPC aotomatically processed my return. I suggest you should contact CPC help lne
