Deduction under section 24(b).

If property is purchased by taking a home loan,and the property registered in the name of wife and loan is taken by the husband on which his wife is a co-borrower and payment of principles and interest by husband. His wife has no source of income. Can husband claim deduction u/s 24(b).

Yes Husband can claim Deduction of Interest under Section 24(b) of the Income Tax Act 1961 upto Rs. 2 lakhs ( assuming it to be a Self Occupied Property ) as he is one of the co-borrower.
