from a.y. 2019-20, medical expenses up to 50000 incurred for senior citizens are eligible for deduction under 80D

Dear Sir,
Thanks for updating me enhanced medical expenses deduction under 80D.however I wish to be educated whether daughter in law is eligible for
deduction if the bill is settled by her for treatment of mother in law.

expenses in respect of family and parents can be claimed and not for in laws...
