Hello Sir,

Section 80D: Deduction in respect of Medical Insurance

Deduction is available up to Rs. 20,000/- for senior citizens.

As you paid the insurance amt is 19214,you get the deduction of 19214 u/s 80d

For further query please asked.

u/s 80 D, a deduction of INR 20000/- is available to senior citizens. you will get a deduction of 19214/- because you have paid that much amount only.

i am assuming that you have paid this amount through cheque/DD/ credit card /online only.

Paid by cheque thn u will claim Rs.19,214/-
why sec 80 is boring for me
15000 for other and 20000 for senior citizen -limit u/s 80 d
