Deduction u/s 80d mediclaim policy

I have paid mediclaim policy premium payment through cheque from my saving account for my parents but Insurance company has issued 80D Certificate in my parents name. Still can I calim the premium paid amount as 80D dedcution in my Tax Computation.

Please advise.

U CAN CLAIM MAX RS 50,000 U/S 80D FOR HEALTH INSURANCE FOR YOU AND YOUR PARENTS

Please,get 80D certificate corrected in your name & date should be prior to 31.03.2018 to claim income-tax rebate for the F.Y.2017-18,before filing of your current year return i.e.31.07.2018.

Already approched to Insurance Company for change in 80D Certificate but as per their company policy 80D certificate can be issued only in the name of policy holder.
