Deduction of epf

Please any one suggest me in regard of following matter. Whether amt invested in EPF a/c by salaried person are deductible u/s 80c in f.y. 2015-16 whether epf no. is received in f. y. 2016-17 but amt. was deducted as epf payment since from june 2015. so, what to do? please experts suggest me.

if the perspn has been receiving salary after deducting epf then he can claim deduction of such amt in itr, even if that amt has not been deposited by employer in epf a/c.

Thank you tribhuvan sir And sir one more question is that In itr we have to take gross salary i.e. before deducting pt and epf under salary head and then claim deduction under sec. 80 c, am i right sir or not plz suggest me sir.
